Volunteering can be a rewarding, fulfilling and enjoyable experience for anyone of any age. Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hart Place is always seeking volunteers to assist with our activities programs and interact with our residents. Examples of activities in which volunteers can participate include:

• Indoor and outdoor social events
• Arts, crafts and music
• Exercise programs
• Individual and group activities
• Reading to residents
• Visiting with residents

All volunteers go through a review and training process as well as a background check.

Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome with parental consent.
